Does it read my internet traffic?

No. It measures connection behavior and aggregate operating-system counters. It does not capture payloads, browsing history, or destinations.

Measurement and the local Windows status interface continue offline. Summaries queue locally and retry later.

Do I have to install the aircraft receiver?

No. It is an optional way to receive the service free. The radio driver and FlightPatch components install only after explicit selection.
